2016 HOA Dues

REMINDER:  the 2016 HOA dues will be increasing as follows beginning January 1, 2016:

  • Vacant Lots – $118/month
  • Single Family Homes – $125/month
  • Cottages – $125/month
  • Townhomes – $246/month

If you utilize your bank’s automatic bill pay system, remember to adjust your payment amounts accordingly. Please also remember that payments are due on the 1st of each month. If your payment is more than 30 days late, your account will be charged a $20 late fee.

Payment Books Mailed

If you are among the homeowners who responded to our November survey indicating that you would like to receive payment books for your 2016 HOA dues, please be aware that the books were shipped on 11/30/2015. [This includes all homeowners who completed the online survey form, as well as those who sent us an email or called the office to request a coupon booklet.] They will be mailed directly from the printer, so be on the lookout for an envelope from SouthData located in Mount Airy, North Carolina. Books were shipped to whatever mailing address you gave when completing the survey.

If you do not receive your payment book within the next week or so, or if your book has errors, please contact the office.

While it is too late to request a payment book for next year, it is never too late to get on the list to receive monthly statements/reminders via email. If you have not already responded to the survey and would still like to sign up for email reminders, please let us know, and we will be happy to add you to the list.

Planned Power Outage

The Tillamook PUD has scheduled a planned power outage on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 9am until 5pm in order to change out some equipment and poles. This outage will affect all areas west of Fraser Road, including Whiskey Creek, Netarts and Oceanside. If you’re planning to be at home in The Capes that day, make sure your devices are charged up and you’ve got fresh batteries in the flashlight. The sun sets around 4:35pm this time of year, and if it’s raining it will be dark even earlier!

Happy Holidays from the Office!

Whether you spend it here at The Capes or not, we hope that everyone has a safe, healthy and happy holiday season! As a reminder, we will be closed on December 5, 6, 12 and 13. (The first and second weekends in December.) If you have an emergency on one of those days, please call our answering service at 503-842-8777, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
