No Fireworks
To ensure that everyone has a safe and fire-free holiday weekend, please remember that ALL fireworks and outdoor burning are prohibited at The Capes. (That means ‘not allowed’.) This includes fire pits, chimineas, gas or wood-burning patio heaters, table-top fire pits/bowls, sparklers, firecrackers, sky rockets, etc. Anything that explodes or produces a flame – other than a safely-supervised barbecue grill – is a no-no! Thank you in advance for helping to keep The Capes safe!
Construction Hours
It’s so exciting to see new homes in progress here at The Capes after 10 years without any new construction! As we go into the holiday weekend, please make sure your contractors are aware of the days and times that outdoor, noisy construction is and is not allowed. [Note: this applies to all outdoor, noisy construction work, not just new home builds!] Interior work is allowed at any time (unless it’s something that might be disruptive for a shared-wall neighbor), as well as quiet outdoor work such as painting.
Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Sundays: No outdoor, noisy construction allowed
Holidays: No outdoor, noisy construction allowed
Mailing Address Change for The Capes
Ok, the countdown is on – the PO Box in Oceanside has been renewed for only 6 more months, so we’ve got until the end of the year to get everyone to start using the address to our mailbox here at The Capes! I’ve put off switching us over for as long as possible, but it seems silly to continue to drive to Oceanside to pick up the mail every day when I can see our mailbox here at The Capes from my office window.
Effective immediately, please begin using our on-site mailing address for all dues checks or other correspondence:

If you use your bank’s online bill payment service for your monthly dues, please update the address that your bank uses to mail the check to us. I will send out periodic reminders, and hopefully by the end of the year we’ll have everyone using the “new” address.
Office Closure
The manager’s office will be closed on Monday, July 4, 2022 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
