How Do You Due?
It’s that time of year again when I beg ask you to let me know how you would like to pay your 2024 HOA dues. Would you like to make one payment for the whole year, or would you prefer to pay monthly? Quarterly? Twice a year? Do you want a tear-out payment book to help you remember to pay, or would you like to have reminders emailed to you? Or maybe you’re one of those independent types who don’t need no stinkin’ reminders?

I will be placing orders for the tear-out payment books on December 4, 2023, so if you want one, you need to fill out this form no later than Sunday, December 3, 2023. [Please note, the office absolutely does NOT need to have that tear-out coupon to process your dues payment. They are for your convenience only. If the only reason you like them is because they come with mailing labels, let me know, and I’ll be happy to mail you some labels instead!]
Last Call for Gutter Cleaning
If you’ve got gutter clutter, this is the perfect time of year to get it cleared out before the winter winds and rains get started. For anyone who is interested, Tony Rich from Rich Home Services, LLC is offering group rates on gutter cleaning. The price will be a fixed rate of $140 for townhomes; due to the varying sizes of the single family homes, those who are interested will be given an estimate before the work is done (so let me know if you’d like an estimate). The office will be collecting payment in advance, so if you would like to participate, please mail your payment to The Capes Homeowners Association, 605 Capes Drive, Tillamook, OR 97141, or drop it off at the office no later than Friday, November 17, 2023. Checks should be made out to RICH HOME SERVICES, LLC (NOT to The Capes HOA). Tony will work on the gutters throughout November as weather conditions permit.
Sip ‘N Scribe…or Drink ‘N Decorate…?
On Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 1-3 pm, come to the Bridge House and sip a glass of wine or festive drink and learn to decorate holidays cookies from a real expert, Jerrilee Anderegg. We will bake the cookies ahead of time and provide all of the necessary frosting and tips, and Jerrilee will show you 4 different ways to decorate sugar cookie trees. You may take your decorated cookies home and freeze them for parties later in the month. Cost is $10 per person. Please RSVP to fun@thecapeshoa.org no later than Sunday, November 26, 2023…but you may want to hurry – class size is limited to 12!
Holiday Office Closures
I will be out of the office all day on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 for an appointment. The office will be closed Wednesday, November 22 through Friday, November 24, 2023 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
