Are your gutters ready for winter?
If you’ve got gutter clutter, this is the perfect time of year to get it cleared out before the winter winds and rains get started. For anyone who is interested, Tony Rich from Rich Home Services, LLC is offering group rates on gutter cleaning. The price will be a fixed rate of $100 for townhomes; due to the varying sizes of the single family homes and cottages, those who are interested will be given an estimate before the work is done. The office will be collecting payment in advance, so if you would like to participate, please mail your payment to The Capes Homeowners Association, PO Box 404, Oceanside, OR 97134, or drop it off at the office no later than Friday, October 29, 2021. Checks should be made out to RICH HOME SERVICES, LLC (NOT to The Capes HOA). Tony will work on the gutters as weather conditions permit.
Final Notification of Approved Documents
Back in August, we notified you that the Board would be voting in their September meeting to approve updates for two documents in order to account for recent procedural changes in the process for registering guests and renters. This notice is to let you know that these changes were approved, and the amended documents have been uploaded to the governing document section of our website.
- The Capes HOA Community Rules – We removed the specific procedural information and replaced it with a more general rule that homeowners must register their guests or renters according to the policy specified in the Capes Policy for Guest Registrations. This way, if the policy changes in the future, this document will not need to be amended. No other changes were made to this document.
- Capes Policy for Guest Registrations – The policy has been updated to reflect the current procedure by which owners should register their guests or renters in the new Owner’s Portal.
