Stair Closure!
If you typically walk through the Cottages and down into the canyon to reach the beach, please be advised that the stairway next to Cottage #3 is temporarily CLOSED and you will need to take another route. Hopefully our contractor will be able to get them sorted out early next week. In the meantime, please use the stairs at the end of Capes Point or the Fall Creek Drive trail to the beach.
Wine and Cheese Party Updates
There are a couple of updates to the plans for Labor Day weekend’s Wine and Cheese extravaganza. While still taking place on Sunday, September 3rd, the time has changed slightly, and the event will now be held from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Additionally, with the possibility of rain in the forecast (which we could totally use right now!), the decision has been made to move the event to the Bridge House. What hasn’t changed is that the HOA will still provide a variety of cheeses to sample and we are asking you to bring a bottle of your favorite wine to share. Hope to see you there!
Last Call for Driveway Seal Coating
If your driveway needs a little love and attention and you haven’t already done so, this is your last call to get on the list for seal coating when Northwest Asphalt is here later this month. The rates for driveways is $0.25 per square foot to seal the asphalt with an additional charge if there are any cracks that need to be filled. If you’re not sure whether or not you need it, you can sign up as “only if it needs it” and the guys at NW Asphalt can take a look and let you know. Please let me know no later than next Friday, September 8, 2023 if you want to be on the list.
No Labor on Labor Day!
This is a reminder to all who have any kind of exterior work going on at their homes currently – noisy exterior construction is allowed Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. It is not allowed on Sundays or holidays. Please tell your contractors to enjoy their Labor Day off!
Upcoming Office Closures
The office will be closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday (September 2-4) for the long Labor Day weekend. I will also be out of the office all afternoon on Monday, September 11th and all day on Monday, September 18th.
